Intercessors For Souls

Where are those that regularly weep tears of intercession for souls today? Its seldom to be found in a generation driven and running to and fro. We are consumed in social media talking with one another, reading and listening to what others say about God, but little time on our knees with the door of our prayer closets closed- the clamor of the world shut out, and the quieting of our souls to be shut in to hear the the voice of our God.

We need weeping intercessors that will stand between the dead and the living and take hold of God persevering in prayer, not letting go till heavens be opened and His Spirit and love refill our hearts with the assurance of His promises that are yes and amen to the glory of God through us.

Let the heart of the prophet's cry become our heartbeat today:

"Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence, As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence! ... And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities. But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
